BJG Electronics, Inc. transitions to ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100:2016 Rev D

RONKONKOMA, NY, October 9, 2017 – Long Island-based BJG Electronics, Inc. announced, today, its certification to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 (Rev D) by the National Quality Association (NQA). The enhanced ISO “Revision D” standard requires all organizations designing and manufacturing parts for the aerospace industry to undergo a rigorous audit, analyzing ISO 9001 compliance.  Once certified, organizations are subject to ongoing monitoring by NQA.  In addition to enhanced overall ISO requirements, the new revision requires that companies demonstrate quality and process controls that protect end users from counterfeit parts.  BJG receives this certification nearly one year ahead of ISO’s required implementation.

As an early adopter of the new ISO standard and practices, BJG has once again demonstrated its commitment to product and service quality.  Rick Flora, President, BJG Electronics, said, “BJG’s commitment to quality is at the core of everything we do. I am proud of the entire BJG organization. It takes the whole company, working together, to ensure that BJG leads the industry in quality practices and results.”

“BJG’s immediate transition to AS9100:2016 shows the industry our continuous dedication to all aspects of Quality,” remarked Dave Hubert, Quality Manager, BJG Electronics. He continues, “This certification is a testament to every employee’s persistence, hard work, and attention to detail.”

With a globally expanding salesforce, industry experts, and skilled personnel, BJG continues to demonstrate it is well-equipped to address the demanding requirements of its military and aerospace customers around the world. BJG’s transition to AS9100:2016 will assure customers that BJG is compliant with the highest industry standards and implements best-practices in all its activities.
